Hester Ndoja came on board in January 2008, she is the staff liaison for the Membership Committee, Professional Development Awards Committee, Silent Auction Committee, Executive Series Luncheons, Central Florida Committee, and the CAE/CMP Study Groups. She recently sat for the Certified Association Executive Exam and earned her CAE designation.
Hester graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Public Relations. After college, she moved to Florence, Italy. While living abroad, she met her husband, Gjergj (pronounced like JERJ). Prior to joining the FSAE team, Hester worked for the Florida Association of Health Plans as the Operations Manager for 4 years. She was involved in every aspect of the Association - membership relations and recruitment, meeting planning, regulatory and legislative tracking, and she also assisted in the creation of the Florida Association of Health Plans Foundation. She enjoys photography, Italian cooking, going to art museums, traveling, and fiction novels. She is an active member in the Tallahassee Junior League and worked tirelessly to create a new cookbook this year as a fundraiser to further the Junior League's mission of improving the lives of children and families in the local Tallahassee community. She wants to be remembered for her enthusiastic attitude and reliable work ethic.

Lisette Mariner is the Director of Education & Events at FSAE. Lisette has more than 10 years of meeting planning experience and a strong association background. Her experience in meeting planning began with the Florida Educational Technology Corporation (FETC). In an office of five staff, she was responsible for contract negotiations with up to 15 hotels and various sub contractors and coordinating all onsite services including transportation and emergency support. She maintained a Microsoft Access database for over 220 concurrent educational sessions.
Prior to FSAE, she managed the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Leadership Council. She was responsible for planning meetings in each of the 15 regions before and after the Florida Legislative Session. During her seven years with the Florida Medical Association (FMA) she gained valuable knowledge in strategic planning, crisis communications, scientific journal publications and working with volunteer boards and members. With the Florida Chamber and FMA, she has maintained various budget line items that total over $300,000. She has worked directly with the leadership, many councils and committees for each organization.
Ann Hewes, Director of Finance & Administration

Ann is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities for FSAE and the FSAE Foundation, which also includes invoicing ads and calculating commissions for Source and Resource. She also prepares monthly financial reports and work with FSAE's editor on Resource, obtaining and formatting listings as well as proofing the directory. With input from all the staff, Ann formulates the budgets for both FSAE and the Foundation and work with the CPA on the yearly audit. She is responsible for administrative duties for complying with city and state requirements, as well as insurance and payroll for staff.
Ann's background was working in the home construction /interior design field as an operations manager. Before that, several years in the technical graphics field at NASA Langley in Virginia, where she prepared technical illustrations for the research scientists and engineers. Ann worked with scientists whose fields of study ranged from the shuttle and hover-craft aviation to the study of how insects fly and the study of lightning strikes. Much of her work was classified information at the time, but some have appeared in aeronautics publications.

Teri Carden is the Director of Marketing & Technology for the Florida Society of Association Executives and resides in Tallahassee, Florida. Teri has been in the association environment for over two years and makes efforts to stay in tune to the technology trends that impact the association industry as well as implementing FSAE's marketing plan to its members. She works to accomplish FSAE’s goals with its two boards, 18 committees, 5 person staff and with the 800+ executive and associate members.
Before coming to FSAE, Teri lived in Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Marketing and Management from Trevecca Nazarene University and where she began her career in management with The Christie Retail Group, Inc. There she managed over 40 employees and 6 cookie and gelato retail locations.
